Mixing with Valhalla Room Reverb
Valhalla has some great reverbs but Valhalla Room is different from the other Valhalla reverbs as it is designed to focus on smaller spaces.
Smaller spaces can be used to color an instrument without some of the downfalls of larger spaces.
Since the spaces generally dont have the long decays of larger reverbs, they can be used to allow an instrument to sit the mix better without stepping on other tracks.
In this video we show some examples of this using Valhalla Room and the "Professional Acoustics" presets made for Valhalla Room by Synth-Presets.com.
We use it on drums to make the samples sound more like a real drum kit.
We also using it on a synth Arp to help it sit in the mix better.
