This week's leaks include the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G and Realme GT 2 Pro, both boasting solid specs, hopefully solid camera tech and in Realme's case the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. Which, coincidentally, was just launched at Qualcomm's massive Hawaiian Summit. Here's all the hot tech gossip and news, presented in the usual factually dubious manner.
That Samsung A73 5G is one of the smartphones I'm most looking forward to in 2022. The Galaxy A52s was superb so here's hoping this even bigger blower can satisfy even demanding users, for a nice price.
While the Realme GT 2 Pro will sport a more flagship price point, you get dual 50MP rear cameras and that Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 platform. This 4nm chipset is more powerful and power efficient vs the SD888 as you'd expect, offering fresh AI, camera and gaming features.
Oh, and the Twitter guy buggered off too.
