Tutorial 6 in Programming with Python series by @AnsarisBroTech In this video, we have explained about python character set, tokens which is used in writing programs. The goal of this video is to make viewers have ability to distinguish the between programming language code/construct and user/programmer defined values. Python Fundamentals Python Character Set Character Set is the set of valid characters that a language can recognize. A character represents any letter, digit or any other symbol. Tokens The smallest individual unit in a program is called token. In technical term are called tokens lexical unit or lexical elements means any letter, puncation marks or symbols are tokens Keywords Used to give special meaning to the interpreter and are used by Python interpreter to recognize the structure of program. These are reserved means has a unique identity for special purpose and cannot be used as normal identifier names. Identifiers Identifiers are the names given to different program elements like variable, objects, classes, function, list, dictionaries etc Literals Literals (constants) are data items that is assigned to variables.
