I wanted to check if
I wanted to check if the Heavy Laser Build that I did before with the Hunchback also works on the Marauder IIC. For this purpose I took the MAD-IIC and stuffed it with energy weapons and heat sinks.
The Alpha Strike in this build is devastating. 76 damage in one burst ist quite scary. However, the long burn time of the lasers make it so that you have to trace your target precicely or surprise them so that they don't have time to react. The upside of taking a Marauder IIC is that you have a great defensive profile and enough room and weight for a good amount of heat sinks. Due to the weight efficiency of our lasers we even have enough weight to run the Clan XL400 engine, which makes the Mech fast enough to get into optimal distance for the Heavy Medium Lasers.
