Egypt has submitted an ambitious peace proposal to end the Israel-Hamas war in the Gaza Strip. Egypt's 3-step plan includes a 2-week truce and the release of 40 hostages, followed by the formation of a technocratic Palestinian government and the IDF's pullout from the strip. Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh was in Cairo on a four-day visit to hold talks with Egyptian authorities. Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reiterated that 'Israeli defence forces won't halt their operation until Hamas is annihilated.' Watch this video to know more.
