The moving average strategy holds immense significance in both an investor and trader's toolkit due to its ability to provide a clear and simplified view of stock price trends. It means gaining insights into potential value zones and deciding optimal entry or exit points. The 50-day moving average (50 DMA) and 200-day moving average (200 DMA) are important tools. For instance, when a stock's price crosses above the 50 DMA, it signals a potential uptrend, indicating a point of entry - and vice-versa. The 200 DMA, being a long-term indicator, offers insights into the stock's overall trend.
