Microsoft Flight Simulator is almost
Microsoft Flight Simulator is almost certainly the best VR flight simulator BUT it is a hefty beast to get running smoothly and demands a fairly top quality VR ready PC if you want the best VR graphics possible. So how does MSFS VR look and perform on a 4090 with everything set to ultra? Well, it's absolutely breathtaking and is one of the few VR experiences that looks and feels almost real (I just need someone behind me shaking my chair for the authentic turbulence experience). If you're curious to see how MSFS VR performs for you I'd always say grab yourself a PC Gamepass trial or a 3 month membership to test how your system can handle the best VR flying game before you consider dropping £59.99 on it via Steam. Sadly we don't have anything quite to this level of complexity on Quest 2, the Quest 2 flight simulator selection is a little more arcade feeling but if you have a VR ready PC the Microsoft Flight Simulator Quest 2 experience is incredible despite the headsets lower FOV & resolution compared to higher spec VR HMDS.
