Chimpanzee island tour

Ngamba Chimpanzee Island was gazetted  in 1998.Its a forest occupying 95 aches specifically for the Chimps. These chimpanzees are in captivity or have a conservation lifestyle, unlike the wild ones in the jungles.
Chimpanzees are the closest creatures to man and there are 98.7% humans, and their very interesting and creative .

Chimpanzees live in a community and have a leader who is called an Alpha Male or President.
A chimp is considered young from 0-12 years, at 13 years there are declared adults. A chimp has a life span of 60years.Female chimps breast feed their young ones up to 6years.
