At the age of 16, Neor co-founded the Connect Vancouver Foundation, a youth-run organization dedicated to making technology and the internet more accessible to Vancouver’s homeless and at-risk. Since 2014, the organization has focused on providing free smartphones and phone plans to some of the cities most vulnerable, while also recently launching digital literacy training programs. www.connectvancouver.org/ Digital Inclusivity: Is your smartphone a privilege or a right?" Neor Tiku is a 3rd-year Political Science student at the University of British Columbia. At the age of 16, Neor co-founded the Connect Vancouver Foundation, a youth-run organization dedicated to making technology and the internet more accessible to Vancouver’s homeless and at-risk. For almost five years, the organization has focused on providing free smartphones and phone plans to some of the cities most vulnerable, while also recently launching digital literacy training programs.
