How to use the Vehicle Information Display on your 2014 Nissan Altima from Byerly Nissan

Your vehicle is equipped with a vehicle information system that monitors a host of vehicle functions. Vehicle information is displayed in a monitor located in between the tachometer and the speedometer. The vehicle information display displays items such as:
• Vehicle Settings,
• Trip Computer Information,
• Drive System Warnings and Settings (if so equipped),
• Audio Information,
• Navigation information (if so equipped),
• Cruise Control System Information,
• NISSAN Intelligent Key Operation Information,
• Indicators and Warnings, and
• Tire Pressure Information (if so equipped).

The vehicle information display can be changed using the button with the square icon and the ENTER button, located on the steering wheel. Push this switch up or down to navigate through items. Press the button with the square icon to enter the menu items and press the ENTER button to change or select an item. Press the BACK button to go back to the previous menu.

When the ignition is placed in the ACC or ON position, the following screens are displayed:
• Active System Status (if so equipped),
• Trip Computer,
• Tire Pressure Information (if so equipped),
• Fuel Economy, and
• Warnings, if there are any present.

To reset the fuel economy mode, press and hold the button with the square icon for more than one and a half seconds while the fuel economy mode is displayed.

The "Settings" mode allows you to change the information displayed in the vehicle information display. Press the button with the square icon until you reach the "Settings" mode, then push this switch up or down to select from the following menus:
• Driver Assistance (if so equipped),
• Main Menu Selection,
• Body Color,
• Maintenance,
• Alarms,
• Vehicle Settings,
• Language,
• Unit, and
• Welcome Effects.

"Main Menu Selection" allows you to choose which items you want to be displayed on the main menu. Up to four items can be selected. Choose from Trip Computer, Audio, Navigation (if so equipped), Tire Pressures (if so equipped) and Fuel Economy. Move this switch up or down to highlight an item and press the ENTER button to check or uncheck the box for each item.

You will find this display feature just below the Vehicle Information Display. It records the total distance the vehicle has been driven as well as the distance of two individual trips. You'll see the TRIP RESET switch on the left side of the instrument panel. Push it to change the display from trip A, to trip B and back again. Press and hold the button for more than one second to reset the selected odometer.
