after a 80 mile ride i parked the bike while i had breakfast., bike ran perfectly before i parked it.  When i cam back and put the key to the on position the check engine light was on.  Every time i twisted the throttle the bike died.  It idles fine but any twist of the throttle kills the engine.

Update 9/1/11:  After the San Diego Dealer pulled some records it appears i was misinformed about the 1st throttle body change.  Instead of changing out the throttle body only a sensor was changed out at the Escondido dealer.  After a complete replacement of the the throttle body at the San Diego Dealer the bike has been working great

Update (8/25/11): Went back to the dealer yesterday to pick up the s1000rr.  They replaced the throttle cables after running some of the error codes from the check engine light.  Their first diagnosis was that the throttle cable was being "pinched" so believing it was damaged it was replaced.  Happy to have my bike back, I mount up, turn the key, and the check engine light came back on.  I hadn't moved the bike from where the dealer placed once they believed repairs were done.  So I signal the service writer, point to the light and they put it back on the technician stand.  I jump back onto the loner and ride home for another night without my thunder grey s1000rr.  I called today and the dealer reports the code is now pointing to what may be a faulty throttle body.  Keep in mind this is the second throttle body that has been installed on this bike in its lifetime of 6 months and 1750 miles (been on deployment and will have to go back in about a month) .  Its a very expensive part so the dealer has been in contact with BMW reps to find another explanation in case it is something other than the throttle body which would make it the 3rd one installed in less than a year.
