I bought this 1994 Nissan
I bought this 1994 Nissan Hardbody in 2012, I was 16/17 years old. Started out as a simple static drop and dreamed to air bag in the future. I eventually collected enough parts to begin the process, which was slow... got the rear bagged my senior year of high school with no air management. Everyday I filled up an auxiliary air tank to take with me to school, lay the back out and go to class. Come back refill the bags and cruise home hahaha. Eventually got to bagging the front of the truck and adding a small air management system to ditch the Schrader valves!
once the truck was bagged it was time to keep going. small stereo system and custom interior bits. Went though and shaved a number of things, and added pathfinder sheet metal. Eventually got the truck in one coat of primer to look more presentable.
went out on a limb and attempted a true style wood floor. After a month of hardwork I was super happy with the end result. I drove the truck for another year or so and decided it was time to take the next step and stock floor body drop the truck!!!
Built a new 3/4 frame from box tubing, designed everything around 20" wheels. the original plan was simple stock 4 banger and get it done... well that didn't go to plan lol.
wheels didn't fit so attempted a custom wide body, as well as why not throw a small block in the truck?!
then went to building 3 different dashes, cutting the firewall 3 times, cutting the floor out, cutting the front suspension off 3 times, 2 sets of motor/trans mounts...... the list goes on.
after so much slicing and dicing the truck was officially going backwards with nothing to go off of... i thought long and hard and decided it was time to scrape the truck and salvage the usable parts.
I learned soooo much building this truck from the ground up, and don't regret anything! I hope that this inspires at least one of yall..
