Did you know that the world's largest market place is the Chatuchak district in Bangkok, Thailand?
I am adding the market place, which I have visited many times in my trip to Thailand, to my Thailand vlog series for you. I'm here with a video where you can see Thai Street food in the Asian region.
What's on Chatuchak Weekend Market? Foot massagers, flowers, books from Thai massages. Thai vegetables, wicker and bamboo household appliances, organic sponges from the ocean, clothing and too many products to count. So much that you can't even finish it in one day.
There was also a huge tropical animal market here in the past years. Thailand entered with the army and completely destroyed this market. But I'm sure it's still being traded here.
We see sculptures in a part of the market. You can buy these statues, which are extremely expensive in Istanbul, at a very affordable price in the Thai Chatuchak market. At the same time, you can send the statue you bought to Turkey by mail.
Second-hand clothing sales are equally popular in a store where they collect Hawaiian style shirts from America and Europe and sell them as second-hand.
