On "International Women's Day" we celebrate the last woman driver to compete in the World Rally Championship, Michele Mouton, who competed for the factory Audi team, securing four rally wins and narrowly missing out on the championship title in 1982.

We also celebrate the career of her long established co-driver, Fabrizia Pons, who is one of only two people to secure world championship points as a driver and co-driver.  She finished ninth overall in the 1978 Sanremo Rally as a driver, before switching to the co-driver's seat. And in 1982, Pons was awarded the Halda Trophy, which was the highest honor for a co-driver.

In this clip we head back to the 1984 RAC Rally, where Michele was as keen as ever to "fight like hell" and was right on the rev limiter, wowing the fans in the short wheelbase Audi Quattro Sport.
