We all have these kinds of doors – you open it, and it swings itself (mostly) shut. Or you close it to within an inch of the frame, and it swings itself open again. WHY CAN’T THESE STUPID DOORS STAY WHERE WE PUT THEM!?!?!?
Houses shift with age, and doors begin doing this when they never did before. Carpenters and fix-it experts will tell you it will take quite a bit of work and expense to realign the door frame so the door doesn’t move. NOT SO!
