Made with all-purpose flour,sugar and ghee (clarified butter) these Indian shortbread cookies have a tender, crumbly texture.They can also be made with butter.
Ingredients
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 ghee or clarified butter
2-3 green cardamom
1/2 cup Maida + 6 tbsp
1/4 cup besan or gram flour
1 tbsp suji or rava or semolina
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp baking powder
8 tbsp full salt
