These crochet baby shoes in size newborn are really easy to work up. The finished length is 3.15” (8cm) approximately.

I decided to add a teddy bear applique and mini pompom on to my baby shoes. But this step is optional… they look equally as cute just on their own.
For the yarn, I used Hobbii Rainbow Cotton 8/4 for the shoes and bear applique. This yarn is very similar to a #2 sport / 4 ply yarn.
To embroider the nose and eyes, I used Hobbii Rainbow Cotton 8/8, which is more like a #4 worsted / aran yarn.
For the hook, I used two crochet hooks: E (3.5mm) for the shoes and 3mm for the teddy bear.
This video is a beginner-friendly crochet tutorial and as long as you know how to work the following stitches, you’ll have no problem in making these cute crochet baby shoes:
BPdc – back post double crochet
ch – chain
dc – double crochet
dc2tog – double crochet two together
EXdc – extended double crochet
sc - single crochet
sk – skip
sl st – slip stitch
st – stitch

🔸Yarn: #2 (fine) / sport / 4 ply. I used 1 skein each of Hobbii Rainbow Cotton 8/4 in the colours Baby Blue (032) White (001) and Beige (004),186 yds/ 1.75oz (170m /50g). For the eyes and nose, I used a small amount of Hobbii Rainbow Cotton 8/8 in the colour Black (009), 82 yds/ 1.8oz (75m /50g).
