🔻 CREAMY ALFREDO SAUCE (My version)
1/4 cup sweet cream butter (this totally changes the sauce game!)
1/4 cup unsalted butter
Garlic (as much you'd like)
1 1/3 cup heaving whipping cream
2/3 cup whole milk
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese (FRESH ONLY!)
Salt and pepper to taste
Nutmeg (THIS! Start with a pinch or two - it's so surprising!)
Cornstarch and water (THICKENS THE SAUCE!)
☝🏻 DIRECTIONS:
1. Melt butter on low heat
2. Add minced garlic to release aroma and flavor (30-60 secs)
3. Add milk and cream - heat to a low simmer (do not boil!)
4. Add salt and pepper
5. Add parmesan cheese
5. Pinch a bit of nutmeg
