IAM Advanced Rider Training - Observed Ride #1

I've come back to motorcycling after a 37 year break.

My ambition was to be able to ride a powerful bike to the same standard as a Class 1 Police Rider. Whilst I may never hit that goal, I want to be safe, have fun and squeeze the maximum potential from my R1200RT.

Here's a taste of my first observed ride with the UK Institute of Advanced Motorists on their IAM RoadSmart 'Advanced Rider' Scheme. My instructor was kind enough to allow me to film his input, and you'll definitely learn from him.
