ഇടുക്കിയിലെ കാടുകളിൽ പാർക്കുന്ന ഊരാളി എന്ന ആദിവാസി സമൂഹത്തിന്റെ മൂപ്പൻ ഞങ്ങൾക്കായി ചില വിഭവങ്ങൾ തയ്യാർ ആക്കിയത് ആണ് ഈ വീഡിയോയുടെ ഉള്ളടക്കം. ഗ്രീൻബെർഗ് റിസോർട്ടിൽ നിന്നും ആണ് ഞാൻ എന്റെ സുഹൃത്ത് സച്ചിനോടൊപ്പം മൂപ്പനെ കാണുവാൻ പോയത്. കൂടെ കുറച്ചു കാച്ചിലും കരുതി. മൂപ്പൻ ഞങ്ങൾക്കായി അവരുടെ തനതു ശൈലിയിൽ കോഴിക്കറി പാകം ചെയ്തു. ഒപ്പം കഴിക്കാൻ പുഴുങ്ങിയ കാച്ചിലും കാന്താരി ചതച്ചതും.

ഞങ്ങൾ പാചകം ചെയ്തു കൊണ്ടിരുന്ന സമയത്തു കൃഷ്ണൻ ചേട്ടൻ നൂറോൺ എന്ന ഒരു കാട്ടു കിഴങ്ങുമായി ആ വഴി വന്നു. അതും പുഴുങ്ങി എടുത്തു, ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഇലയിൽ ഒരു വിഭവം ആയി. മസാലയുടെ അതിപ്രസരം ഇല്ലാതെ ഒരു സാദാ ഭക്ഷണവും ചില നാടൻ പാട്ടുകളും.

We tasted delicious boiled yams and wild tubers cooked by the community members. There was crushed birds eye chili and chicken curry to go with it. Chicken curry was personally supervised by Mooppan. It was a simple yet hearty meal.
