As the previous tutorial covers tricks on how to do invisible increase and decrease, let me continue the series by introducing to you a new technique which involves purposefully displacing increases. You will definitely find it of much help when crocheting stuffed toys.
This technique is the answer to the question how to crochet a perfect circle. I still remember how I struggled to shape the head of the toy when I first took up crocheting. It somehow always came out with sharp corners and did not resemble the sample, even after the stuffing was inserted. I then discovered that whatever issue I was facing, there would be a solution to it.
To put it simply, the technique involves displacing increases or decreases so that they do not align with those in the previous row. Right after we set the foundation of the work, we will add a row in accordance with the formula and another one using this technique.
