If you want to invest money for your retirement, the best option is NPS and I am going to prove this in the next 40 seconds with an example.
Let’s say you are 30 years olds and you want to retire at 60 and want to have 5 Crore as the retirement pot. For this you will need to invest 22,000 every month in NPS at 10% return.
When you retire at 60, you would have invested a total of 80 Lacs and you would have got 4 Crore 20 Lac rupees as the capital gain.
And this 4 Crore 20 Lacs rupees have 0 capital gain tax. Its all your money.
Now instead of investing in NPS, if you invested in mutual finds you will need to pay 10% capital gain and you will loose 40 lacs rupees.
