The Transformers the Movie version
The Transformers the Movie version of Kickback in the retro collection is out and is an homage to the original Insecticon villain. Captain Kyle compared it to the Generation One Insecticon Kickback to see how this new incarnation holds up to the original.
Kickback is a member of the three original Insecticons (and he’s not a Deluxe) who appeared in the Transformers cartoon and the animated movie. He appeared in the comics as well and could apparently become the size of an actual grasshopper. But this toy is based on his appearance in the cartoon and comes with six energon cubes, his weapon, and isn’t chrome at all. Captain Kyle compares the two toys in detail to see if you should get one or both for your collection.
