In this lesson, we explain how the Honored word لله is formed in a way that makes it look as if it lost a letter rather than gained a letter.

This information was adopted from الأسْتَراباذي في شرح الشافية (3/330)
"قولُه : « لئلاّ يلتبس بالنفي» ؛ إذ لو كُتب هكذا : «لالرَّجُل» ، الْتَبَس بـ «لا لِرََجُلٍ» ، و«لا» للنفي . وأما نحو «بالرَّجُلِ» و«كالرَّجُلِ» ، فلا يلتبس بشيء)"
