Rafting down the Vishera is a dream of many tourists and fishermen. The sources of the river, like most of it, are located in hard-to-reach and almost deserted places. In the upper and middle reaches, on both banks, the mountains of the Northern Urals rise and the views that open from the water cannot be called anything other than grandiose. In summer and autumn, the water is crystal clear, you can see every pebble at the bottom. There are many rocks on Vishera, in which caves are often found, and two rocks even preserved drawings of ancient people! However, we came to this river in the midst of spring and found the flood. Most of the banks were flooded, convenient exits could be counted on the fingers. But the speed of the current was very high, and even on packrafts it was possible to cover long distances in one day. We were also lucky with the weather, although initially there was no hope for sunny days.
This alloy left behind mixed feelings. I would call it both successful and unsuccessful, but we can say with confidence that we will have to return to these places!
