Koftay alo curry recipe/  Asan or kam wakat mn tayar koftay totany se bachany ka tareka




Ingredients For meat balls (kofty kabab)
1/2 lemoon
1kg minced chicken ( Murghi k gosht ka qeema)
1/2 kg potatoes( aloo)
1  chopped onion (bareek kati payaz)
4 green chillies chopped ( sabaz mirachain bareek kati hui)
mint leaves half bunch (adhi ghadi podina k paty)
1 egg (Anda)
2 slices of bread
1/2 tsp red chilli powder( lal mirch)
1/2tsp turmeric powder( haldi)
1tbsp roasted coriander powder(dhania powder)
1 tbsp grounded garam masala
1/2 tsp salt( namak)

Note: add 11 koftas into the gravy and save rest for another recipe.

Ingredients for Gravy:
3 medium sized onion sliced (Payaz)
4 tomatoes sliced ( tamatr)
3 whole green chillies ( Sabaz mirchain)
8 cloves of garlic ( Lehsan)
1/2 inch ginger chunk ( adrak)
1tbsp red chilli powder ( laal mirch)
1/2 tbsp turmeric powder ( haldi)
1 tbsp coriander powder
1/2 Yogurt( dahi)
1 tbsp all spices (garam masala)
Parsly to garnish ( dhania)

Directions: (koftay banany ka tareeka )

1.take a pan heat the oil check the with a wooden spatula.
2.fry the potatoes until golden brown. remove excess oil and keep them aside for the gravy.
3.wash chicken with lemon to lessen its odour.Take one large ball and add chicken mince into it.
4.add  chopped veggies,egg and all spices.
5.add 2 slices of bread to soak excess water of the chicken.
6.Mix to combine well with hands or with the help of chopper.

( Ek bartan mn tail garm kr k alo ko sunehra hny t fry krain. or niakl k rakh dain.
chicken ka qeema js mn lemon daal k dhoya tha k  uski bu khtm hu jae.qeema  ek bartan mn dalain or payaz,sabaz mirachain, podina anda, bread or tamam masaly is mn shamil kr k yak ja kr lain.)

Directions for the gravy:  (Shorba)

1.take a pan and add 1 tbsp oil then add onions,tomatoes,ginger and garlic into it. let them sautee till soften. blend them. Add oil into a pan let it heat then add pureed veggies into, cook for 6,8 minuutes. Add all spices mentioned for gravy and 1/2 cup yogurt.let cook for 5 ,6 minutes until oil comes on the surface. Then add fried potatoes and koftas into the pan, cook for another 2,3 minutes. then Add 2 glasses of hot water . cover it and let it cook for another ten minutes.  After 10  minutes it ready to serve.

( Ek bartan mn tail garam karin or payaz,tamtr, adrak,lehson ko bhoon lain thanda hny per inko pees lain. Shorba banay k liye 1 cup tail garam  karin or is mn pissy hua amaiza shamil kr k  6,7 minutes tk paken. tamam masly shamil karin or phr dahi or 5,6 minutes tk pakaen k tail alag hu jae. phr is mn alo or kofty shamil kr k 2,3 minutes k liye paken. phr garam pani k 2 glass shamil kr k dum pe rakh dain. 10 mintues tk dhanp k pakny dain. or akpy alo kofty tayar hain.
