"Technion dance troupe, Haifa
The Technion Student Urban Dance Band went on tour in Europe last week,
and made her first appearance in Grenoble, France, at a youth hostel, held on the spot,
On August 21, 1960.
The band, which consists of 18 people, made its way on the ship "Adrias", the name of the time of the travelers in Hebrew poetry.
The band toured Western Europe and showed up among others at the Carnival - at the 8th Student Festival
In San Tropez - at the World Summer Camp, at the ballot of the Zionist Federation in Sweden and more.
The band program is divided into 3 parts:
Part I - Agricultural Holidays in Israel, Including the Dances: The Desert Awakens, Fish Market, Shepherd and Shepherd, Wine and Wine
Part II - Israeli folklore including dances such as "Sharla", Yemeni dance, "Debka Rafiach" and an Israeli folk dance string
The last part is the song of songs.
The dancers: Ruth Ashkenazi, Penny Duas, Ilana Greenberger, Sarah Costman, Bila Mas, Margalit Nera, Zvi Ashkenazi, Shalut Anabel, Freddie Hitzel, Uri Maneva, Moshe Niv and Dan Snir. Accompanying the band: singer Hannah Pechenik, accordionist Yehuda Raz, dance author Uri Katz, responsible for the band Uzi Rosen, music author Eli Netzer and band director Yoram Alster.
This is the Technion's second tour, founded 4 years ago, two years before, Israeli dancers performed at the youth hostels, as part of the World Exhibition in Brussels. And even won the first prize."

להקת הריקודים של הטכניון, חיפה
להקת הריקודים העירונית של הסטודנטים בטכניון, יצאה בשבוע שעבר לסיור באירופה,
וערכה את הופעתה הראשונה בבולורי, שבצרפת, בכינוס אכסניות־נוער, שנערך במקום,
ב-21 באוגוסט 1960.
הלהקה, המונה 18 איש, עשתה דרכה באניה "אדריאס", שם הנעימה זמנם של הנוסעים בשירה עברית.
הלהקה סיירה במערב־אירופה והו־פיעה, בין היתר בקרונבל - בפסטיבל הסטודנטים ה־,8
בסאן טרופז - במחנה הקיץ העולמי, בנשף של הפדראציה הציונית בשבדיה ועוד.
תכנית הלהקה מחולקת ל־3 חלקים:
חלק א' - החגים החקלאיים בארץ, ובו הריקודים: המדבר מתעורר, שוק הדגים, רועה ורועה, היין והגת
חלק ב'- מן הפולקלור הישראלי ובו ריקודים כמו: "שרלה", ריקוד תימני, "דבקה רפיח" ומחרוזת ריקודי־עם ישראליים
החלק האחרון הוא שיר־השירים.
הרקדנים: רות אשכנזי, פני דואס, אילנה גרינברגר, שרה קוסטמן, בילה מאס, מרגלית נרה,
צבי אשכנזי, שלוט אנבל, פרדי היצל, אורי מאנבה, משה ניב ודן שניר.
מלווים את הלהקה: הזמרת חנה פציניק, האקורדיוניסט יהודה רץ, מחבר הריקודים אורי כץ,
האחראי ללהקה עוזי רוזן, מחבר המוזיקה אלי נצר, ומנהל הלהקה יורם אלסטר.
זהו סיורה השני של להקת הטכניון, שנוסדה לפני 4 שנים, לאחר ששנתיים קודם,
הופיעו הרקדנים הישראליים בכינוס אכסניות־הנוער, במסגרת התערוכה העולמית בבריסל
