The LiquiRob robot system for continuous casting

With fully automated functions for the ladle preparation area and the casting platform, LiquiRob increases casting efficiency, product quality, and operator safety in continuous casting.
In the ladle preparation area, LiquiRob mounts the slide gate cylinder and connects all necessary media couplings on the ladle. In the tundish area, LiquiRob can automatically perform eight different tasks: shroud manipulation and cleaning, tundish powder feeding, measurements, different kinds of sampling, and oxygen lancing.
