During FanFaire NYC 2020, a lucky group of students attended a fantastic session with legendary comic book artist Neal Adams. At this event, Neal gave a masterclass demonstrating how he inks comics in front of enthusiastic learners of all ages, demonstrating the fundamental elements that made him such a renowned inker for decades.
In this clip, Neal shows the class the best way to hold a pen when inking, drawing, and writing, and techniques and methods to practice to become more adept at working in this style.
This was filmed during FanFaire NYC 2020 at the NY High School for Art & Design, and was intended for students advancing towards college and/or careers in comics.
