Azure Application Gateway Ingress Controller (AGIC) is not inherently a part of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). However, it can be utilized with AKS to provide features such as layer 7 load balancing, SSL termination, and web application firewall (WAF) capabilities for your Kubernetes applications.
