The LINE Fukuoka Client Development Team is responsible for developing sticker functions in the LINE application.
The team is growing in accordance with the increasing number of functions year by year, and along with this, problems such as delayed development due to communicating difficulties, which is a bottleneck, differences in specifications among individual platforms, an increase of defects, and lack of documents have arisen.
In this session, I will introduce various mechanisms I have implemented as an Engineering Manager to solve these problems; for example, devising tips on daily use tools such as JIRA, GitHub, and Slack, tips on document management and operation, and the delegation process in line with the growth of the team.
I am happy if this session will give some hints to managers as well as team members who are struggling with similar problems to help them overcome such problems and perform more efficiently.

Hidenori Takeshita is the Engineering Manager of the team which is responsible for Client-side development for LINE applications in LINE Fukuoka and Takeshita’s duties include management of people, team, technologies, and projects and recruitment. As a developer, iOS development has become Takeshita’s main career, and Takeshita’s favorite language is Swift. Takeshita’s hobbies are cooking, outdoor activities, and saunas, and these days Takeshita enjoys collecting barbeque and camping gear and equipment. Takeshita is a cat person.
