Monthly expenditure in Magdeburg/ Cost of living in Magdeburg

The minimum amount a student can spend or have to spend is: The first thing is living expenditure which is roughly 250-300 euros It completely depends on the place where you live whether it is an apartment by the university, or rented private apartment, or any other space. Second is health insurance, you can choose between public and private so, it goes up to approx. 220 euros per month. Now we jump on the most important thing which is groceries because obviously, we need food to survive again it depends on you whether you eat outside or you cook at your place. So the amount goes up to 120 to 200 euros. and if you eat outside then there is no limit like it can go beyond your budget, still approximately 200 to 250 euros.
