You need FANS of YOUR COMICS, not fans of you HATING something else!

If you're an indie comic creator, or any kind of independent creator, be it a writer, animator, artist, or game developer, it can be hard to get eyes on your own work, especially when it's so much easier to get eyes on whatever is trending. Should you chase the algorithm and hate watch, or try to build up your own original work?
