A purple orchid in watercolor 💜 A new class in the making - I’m in the middle of recording, just wanted to share a test piece and the actual painting from this class (the last part of the video)

I will be teaching here how to make these petals look realistic. There are two layers for each and all painted ‘wet on wet. The area isn’t big to handle because I’m teaching how to paint each petal individually 💜

The main orchid in this class is painted on the Collection watercolor paper by @hahnemuehle_global 💜

I am using my own brushes: long quill 2 “Songbird” and rigger 2 “Songbird” (rigger 2 is coming soon to my Etsy shop as I am waiting for the shipment to come from @davinci_artistbrushes_official all the way from Germany 🇩🇪 💜☺️)
