Great language teaching ideas for the new term-Collaboration Speaking

In this video I show you three ideas that you could use in the classroom or when teaching online using technology. the ideas that I'm showing you a really simple but they can get your students speaking and collaborating immediately in the lesson. I'm going to focus on a few simple Technologies but it's not really the technology is important what's important is the ideas that I'm going to show you so we're focusing on ideas that will get your students immediately speaking in pairs or groups and ideas that will get students collaborating together and working together I particularly like the final idea the third idea and I think it's a great example of the way that I can now be used in language learning.
the first idea is really focusing on getting the students to speak by putting them into Pairs and giving them questions to answer but what's really good fun is the technology that I use and the particular activity I use within that technology to get my students speaking and working in pairs and groups you'll love this activity because it's very simple to set up and it's using a technology that has a free option.
the second activity is using the technology that is really improved it's called padlet and padlet has now introduced many different AI options that make it one of the most interesting Technologies for teachers generally and particularly for language Educators so in this video what you're going to see is how I can get my students too quickly work together and brainstorm questions to ask their teacher on their first day of class of course it could be different questions on different things to different groups of people I'm simply suggesting that one idea is that you could use this to get your students asking questions and therefore it's got a writing and a speaking element.
my third idea is one of my favorite ideas and it's one that I've been using and some of my training sessions with teachers you'll actually see at the beginning of the video that I show you exactly how this idea works and it's all about using the AI in padlet there is a very interesting button now it's called I can't write I can't draw sorry and if you use I can't draw you can click on it you can write a description of a picture that you want to see drawn and it will be drawn on the screen the quality of the pictures is superb and it's a great opportunity for students to use language to write a good description so that the image can be produced you'll see what effective lesson this is and what interesting activities you can do afterwards once you've got lots and lots of drawings on the screen
