Intro Tar Lesson with Padideh Ahrarnejad

Padideh Ahrarnejad of the New Canadian Global Music Orchestra gives us an introductory tar lesson. Learn how to get started with the Iranian tar with Padideh's easy strumming patterns.

Padideh started studying music when she was 12, and is an accomplished tar soloist. She was named the best tar player at Iran's Fajr Music Festival multiple times, and is a graduate of the Tehran Conservatory of Music.
