MPPs to debate council-cutting bill at rare Saturday session

The Ontario legislature will be in session Saturday as MPPs debate the controversial Bill 31, which cuts the size of Toronto’s council from 47 to 25. The Tory government says it will do what it takes to pass the bill.(Sept 14, 2018)
