In this video I put the two generations of the Porsche 911 991 side by side. A 2013 base Carrera 2 and a 2017 Targa 4. Is the grass always greener? The 911 was my childhood dream car. It's still my dream car. The first 911 I ever sat in was a first generation 991 (the 991.1) back in 2015 which gave me the push I needed to buy my first 911. A few months later I was a 996 owner. A year later I was 997 owner and now 2 years later I'm a 991 owner... but I'm the owner of the first, not second, generation 991. Am I missing out on anything?? Are there really any differences that I should care about?
