ST.Peter's Crucifixion And Denial Of Jesus Christ

According to the gospels, Apostle Peter confessed Jesus as the Messiah, was part of Jesus's inner circle, thrice denied Jesus and wept bitterly once he realized his deed, and preached on the day of Pentecost. Peter was crucified upside-down in Rome under Emperor Nero Augustus Caesar.

In a dialogue between Jesus and his disciples, Jesus asks, "Who do people say that the Son of Man is.  Who do you say that I am?"  Peter answers, "You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God." Jesus asks Peter to follow him. Peter answers, " I am unworthy to follow you . I am a mere fishermen. " Jesus replies, " Follow me Peter and i shall make you become  Fisher of Men. "

Jesus said. " Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven. And I tell you that you are  (Peter) , and on this rock  I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. "

Jesus said. " I am the resurrection and the life.  Whoever believes in me, shall he live, and he shall never die.
Go now and teach all nations of the Gospels  and to find the kingdom of god and all things shall be yours. Love one another  just as i have loved you.  Behold, i am with you always , even until the end of the world. "
