Red Palm Oil Soap | Beginner Friendly Soap Making w/ Recipe

I decided to give Palm oil a try since i have never used it in any of my Cold Process Soaps. I didn't go with the conventional processed palm oil soaps used by most soapers. Those are white in color. I chose to use the palm oil i have always known growing up as a Nigerian and that's the red palm oil. I used it at only 10% and it gave my soap such a beautiful colour and lather. The recipe i use in this video contains 8 oils so i will write down a simpler recipe for you to try if you're a beginner.

Beginner Recipe:

Coconut Oil - 25%
Shea Butter - 30%
Olive Oil - 45%

You may also substitute 5% of Shea Butter for Castor Oil if you are looking to get an extra stable lather. Do not go over 10% with Castor Oil.
