Caminito Del Rey - Suspended Walkway

Caminito Del Rey...suspended walkways. 😮 Built in 1905 to provide maintenance workers access to the dam. In some places, 300 ft high above the river below. 😲 The original walkway was built with concrete which crumbled over time. You can still see remnants of it just below the new path. After being rebuilt, it was re-opened to the public in 2015. The suspended part runs approx 3 kms but the entire walk involving tunnels, trails, and gravel road encompasses over 5kms. 😭
