Rugers SP101 vs GP100 recoil comparison

4" Ruger SP101 vs GP100 recoil comparison. The SP-101 was fired with Buffalo Bore .32 H&R 130gr loads, the GP100 with .327 100gr American Eagle. The .32 H&R 130gr load figured to have equivalent recoil to the .327 100gr load if fired from a gun of the same weight. I performed the comparison to see if it would be worthwhile to have the SP101 reamed out to .327. I tried to let the guns recoil with the same amount of resistance, and not much at that. Recoil seems about the same. I also ran two three shot strings through each gun, with a normal hold fully resisting recoil, to get a feel for control-ability in rapid fire. The two seemed about the same to me. The .32 mags are easy handle and easy to shoot quickly.
