I had a faulty 54v 6ah flexvolt battery which was well out of warranty and not taking any charge after numerous attempts to fix it I decided a  complete teardown was the best way to get something out of it. The idea is to reclaim as many cells as I could to build and repair other battery packs. The battery featured is a flexvolt 54v/18v which in USA is 60v/20v part number dcb546.this battery has 15 18650 2000mah cells internally which I can reuse if they are good. Flexvolt is a very sophisticated battery with the dual voltage bms and high quality inr18650 20s Samsung cells. I completely took apart this battery and tested the cells 12 out of the 15 are reusable.
The flexvolt battery series has 6ah 9ah 12ah and now more recently 15ah it is a high power multiple cell platform
