Ferrari is on track to unveil a new hypercar, which is expected to be a worthy successor to the LaFerrari. This development is part of Ferrari's broader plan to launch 15 new models by 2026. The Pursangue SUV is set to be the first in this series. While many details about Ferrari's upcoming hypercar, a multi-million-dollar project with over a thousand horsepower, remain under wraps, the available information hints at its potential to be a groundbreaking vehicle.

Recent visual leaks, including videos and photos, have given us glimpses of the car, despite its camouflage. The design underneath is partially visible, revealing significant features. Notably, the front end of the car is quite developed. It showcases three large grille intakes, headlights reminiscent of those on the SF90, and a prominent S-Duct, a feature inspired by Formula 1 and also present in other mid-engined Ferrari models to enhance airflow.

One of the most intriguing aspects of this new Ferrari hypercar is its engine configuration. It's rumored to possibly not have a V12 engine, making it the first Ferrari flagship model since the F40 to potentially feature fewer than 12 cylinders. Early reports and spy photos suggest a hybrid powertrain, as evidenced by electrical safety warning stickers and emissions control devices seen on test models.

A V8 hybrid engine is a possibility, but the most probable choice could be a V6, similar to the one used in the 296 GTB. Additionally, there's a chance that the car might be a plug-in hybrid like the SF90, offering some electric-only driving capability. The exact specifications and capabilities of this hypercar are still largely speculative, but the anticipation for its reveal continues to build.
