This week I'll show you how to crochet a tiger, specially a Water Tiger, to celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year.

Whether this is a Tiger crochet pattern, or a pouncing kitten crochet pattern is entirely up to you!

US terminology used
All pieces are worked in a continuous spiral unless otherwise indicated.

Stitch Glossary:
ss: "slipstitch" - insert hook, yarn over and pull through loop on hook.
ch: “Chain” - yarn over, pull through only loop.
sc: “Single crochet” - Insert hook, yarn over, pull up loop, yarn over, pull through both loops on hook.
inc: “Increase” - Complete two single crochets into the same stitch, one after the other.
dec: “Decrease over two stitches”- Insert hook into stitch, yarn over, pull up loop. Insert hook into next stitch, yarn over, pull up loop. Yarn over a third time, and pull through all three loops on hook.
