Today’s video features a tutorial constructing my new free pattern which I am calling “Rosie’s Messenger Bag”. I designed this bag specifically to carry my iPad Pro. It has large zippered pockets on both the front and back of the exterior bag along with two generous pockets on the bag front. Inside, there is a separate compartment to carry the iPad along with a larger section to carry other items such as a wallet and other necessities. The interior center divider has a pocket which has sections to store your cell phone and pens. The bag also has an adjustable strap. The exterior bag is made from 10 ounce waxed canvas. If you wish to use the same waxed canvas you see in the video, I have an affiliate link listed below. The interior is made from 100% cotton quilting fabric and Interfacings used are WovenFuse2 and Decovil Light. There are timestamps below to help you navigate to different sections of the video. CLARIFICATION: In the video at 24:00 minutes, you will be sewing on the two chalk lines which are both 1” away from the center chalk line and are marked left of the center and right of the center.
