A very common issue with
A very common issue with many Microsoft Windows installations is that you get a child completion prevention at the end of the install when it is just about to finish. This has happened to me often with Windows 7, but it can occur on newer versions of Windows as well. It happens more often with modified installation media, like if you have removed something from the media itself, or added some drivers or hotfixes already in the installation. The actual error message in my case was: Windows could not configure more or more system components. To install Windows, restart the computer and restart the installation.
What you need to do when the error message appears is to press Shift + F10 to open command prompt. Then type regedit to access registry editor. And there go to HKEY Local Machine - System - Setup - Status-ChildCompletion and change value of setup.exe from 1 to 3. Exit registry editor and command prompt and just press ok at the error screen. Then the install should finish correctly.
Hopefully this helped some of you guys as I have faced this quite many times.
