Hi Guys, today I’m reviewing the Veggetti Pro - it’s an as seen on tv product, you might have seen their infomercials.
LINK to Veggetti Pro: http://amzn.to/2fGUy6v It’s a gadget and I wanted to see if it actually works so here it is. There’s an instruction manual with some recipes. It’s a table-top slicer that is supposed to cut fruits and vegetables into thin and thick spirals or ribbons. I love curly fries so I hope this does a good job with potatoes.
This is the base - put it on a flat surface, hold it and turn the suction switch to on. This should keep the base attached to your counter. There are three blades included, thin, thick and ribbon. Put one blade into the slot, I’m using the thin blade. Put a container in front of the base to catch the food. I’ll try Zucchini first for those of you who like Zucchini pasta. Cut the ends off and put it on the round part of the blade and the food holder. The ends of your fruit or vegetable have to be flat, otherwise it won’t be held properly. To use, push this handle forward with one hand and rotate the handle with the other. Bring the handle back slowly when you’re done.
I’ll try carrots next. They worked but it was harder to process. Let’s try the ribbon blade with zucchini. We got nice ribbons of Zucchini. Now I’ll try the thick blade for curly fries. The potatoes processed very easily.
The base is hand wash only and the other parts are top rack dishwasher safe. You can of course hand wash the parts in warm soapy water, use a non-abrasive cleaning brush and not a sponge.
This does disassemble for storage.
