Just a short video of us using hot water to pressure wash a driveway. This video was taken back in May of 2016. In this case, we used hot water because the driveway had not been cleaned in at least five years. There was heavy buildup of black lichen, moss, and other contaminants to remove by pressure washing.
The hot water is not required, but helps loosen organic matter quicker. Hot water tit for tat has more cleaning units and ability than cold water. It helps break the bond of oils and grease, while keeping them emulsified in solution so they can be removed from the surface.
By it's very nature, hot water cuts deeper and cleans better than cold when pressure washing super dirty driveways. Although this short clip doesn't show before and after, it makes a huge difference in our ability to give a deep thorough driveway pressure washing to all of our Jacksonville, Florida clients.
