Kids! Buckle up and strap on that shredding stick for this week's sick new Weekend Wankshop. Today we are going to be cracking into the descending EM7 arpeggio lick John Petrucci busts out in the classic solo to "Under a Glass Moon" by Dream Theater. First we will learn a little bit about what an EM7 arpeggio is, and how you can play one without resorting to sweeping like Shreddicus Maximus at Guitar Center. There's a LOT more to arpeggios than just sweeping, young Timmy!
Playing my Ibanez RG520 scrape painted axe with Dimarzio Evolution bridge and Gravity Storm neck. Heavenly. And of course using my Kemper Profiler.
